Our president, Dave Jones presided over the meeting.
There were about 24 persons present. Visitors were Clarence Duncan and Kenneth Kelch. We are certainly glad these folks joined us.

Show and Tell
| Dave Jones brought in two really fine Christmas tree ornaments, one from Cherry | |
| and the other from spaulted Maple, both with Ebony finials. | |
| Dave also had an attractive Willow bowl | |
| and a vase from spaulted Oak. | |
| Mike Wade showed us a bowl he had turned from Chinese Chestnut | |
| and an "organic" bowl from Cedar. (I guess that is to distinguish it from the "inorganic" bowls turned by Tom). | |
| Mike also brought in 8 of his famous Christmas tree ornaments. It is too much to try and describe them all here. | |
| Tom Schottle also brought in some really nice Christmas tree ornaments. You just needed to see them. | |
| Tom also had a wonderful Alabaster bowl. | |
| Jim Morrison had a wonderful hat he had turned from Ambrosia Maple. | |
| Jerry Smith brought in a couple of his nice "touchy feely" Maple burl bowls. | |
| Joe Smith showed us some fabulous hats he had turned. Two were from Sycamore | |
| and a smaller hat from Walnut made for Mary. | |
| Joe Keeler was able to make it over from Cincinnatti. He brought along two beautiful platters, one he had turned from a Maple crotch | |
| and the other from a Cherry crotch. | |
| He also had a nice hollowform vase from a Maple burl. |
Gary Gibbs brought in several really attractive bowls. Two were large Cherry bowls and there was a nice Osage Orange bowl. He also had two Oak burl bowls and a Beech bowl and a Mahogany bowl. Unfortunately Gary gathered them up before I could photograph them.
Program
Joe Smith, as usual, gave a wonderful discussion and demonstration of basic bowl turning
