Mountaineer Woodturners Newsletter

July 2003

We were shocked and grieved at the passing of long-time member Fred Winterkamp on July 8, 2003.

ANNUAL PICNIC

Bring your appetites, your turnings, and your spouses or other companions!

NEXT REGULAR MEETING

September 13, 2002

Cedar Lakes

Arts & Craft Fair

The Mountaineer Woodturners booth at the Mountain State Arts & Craft fair at Cedar Lakes was a success again this year. The booth sold about $3,200 worth of member’s turnings this year. This was not quite the sale we had last year, but not bad considering three of our members (Dave Mays, Jim Morrison, and Joe Smith) had their own booths.

Show and Tell

There is no show and Tell section this month since there was no meeting in July.

September Meeting

Cedar Lakes. On September 13th . We have been fortunate to get Linda VanGehuchten as our demonstrator.
