Business
The meeting was called to order by our president, Dave Jones. Business was kept to a minimum. The Art and Craft Fair was discussed after lunch for those involved.
Art and Craft Fair
The Mountain State Arts and Craft Fair will be July 1, 2, 3, and 4. Set-up will begin at 8:00am on June 30.
We need people to sign up to demonstrate. Demonstrators must be AAW members. For the demonstrations we will be using the full sized Jet lathe.
Those of you who will be selling items at the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair at Cedar Lakes should contact Co-chairmen Dave Jones or Tom Schottle so that they can assign you a number to place on the price tags for the cash register. Dave also needs to know who will bring shelves and what is their size. We need shelves, plastic covers, table cloths.
Jim Morrison has a piece of Plexiglas from which Dave Jones will make a safety shield - -again.
Remember, only quality items should be exhibited for sale.
Program
Susan Poindexter of CAMC gave an informative talk on nutrition. She gave a discussion on each food group in the food pyramid. Her emphasis was on healthful yet practical aspects of diet.
