Mountaineer Woodturners meets normally on the second Saturday of each month, September through June, at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Lakes Craft Center, Ripley, West Virginia. Take the Fairplain exit from Interstate 77. See map below.
Occasionally we meet at other sites for special programs. Meeting dates may also be changed if necessary to fit particular programs. Check our calendar for updated meeting information.
Meetings usually consist of demonstrations, educational programs, workshops (hands-on), exhibits and mutual assistance.
The woodshop at Cedar Lakes where meetings are normally held is well equipped for hands-on workshops. There are presently ten operating lathes available there.

Exit Turn right from the exit ramp,toward Ripley Then immediately make a right turn on Route 21/26 toward the Burger King Go 0.4 mile, and there will be a sharp left turn After 0.3 mile you will pass the Jackson County livestock auction on the right Continue on straight. After another 2.1 miles you will pass the Salt Hill Church on the right Continue on straight Another 0.6 miles you will come to the entrance to Cedar Lakes on the right |
